Bing Crosby particularly loved jazz, especially when performed by Louis Armstrong, Jack Teagarden, and Bix Beiderbecke. He started his career mostly singing jazz and throughout his life, even when he was involved in many other areas, he occasionally came back to the New Orleans-flavored swinging jazz of his youth.
