The Bing Crosby Show for General Electric (October 9, 1952 – May. 30, 1954)
Bing stayed with CBS as he continued his popular musical variety show on radio as television began to attract most of radio’s biggest stars. His new sponsor, General Electric reaped the benefit of a still impressive radio audience as many stars abandoned the medium.
The Bing Crosby Show (November 22, 1954 – December 24, 1956)
When the musical variety format became impractical for network radio, Bing switched gears and starred on a daily fifteen-minute talk show with prerecorded musical selections featuring a small jazz combo replacing the large orchestra from the earlier shows.
