Country Superstar Lainey Wilson Drops Surprise Holiday Duet With Bing Crosby
The holidays are right around the corner. While most people are still deciding between pumpkin spice or peppermint, Lainey Wilson skipped the debate and delivered a Christmas surprise no one saw coming.
On Friday, October 3, the 33-year-old Grammy-winning country superstar released a brand-new version of “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” — and she’s not alone on the track. Wilson’s voice is paired with none other than holiday legend Bing Crosby on a duet that quietly appeared on major streaming platforms this morning without any advance promotion.
Although the single just landed, reactions are already rolling in across YouTube comments.
“She sounds SO MUCH like DOLLY PARTON! Amazing!!! I liked it!! 🤩👏👏👏” one fan wrote.
“A collab I never knew I needed and this will DEFINITELY be playing during the holidays 🌲⛄❄️🎁🎄🎅👼🤶🕯️🔔🧑🎄,” another added.
This isn’t Wilson’s first foray into holiday music. She previously dropped a cover of “Christmas Cookies” in 2021 and teamed up with Darren Criss on “Drunk on Christmas” the same year. She’s also brought festive performances to TV specials, including CMA Country Christmas and NBC’s Christmas at Graceland.
The surprise duet arrives just weeks after Wilson was confirmed to return as the solo host of the 2025 CMA Awards. “I grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,” she said in a statement. “I’m humbled that CMA has trusted me with this role, and I can’t wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.” The “Heart Like a Truck” singer will take the stage with the night’s highest number of nominations, including Entertainer of the Year. The CMA Awards return November 19 from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, with next-day streaming on Hulu.
As for the late Crosby, who died in 1977, his holiday dominance has never wavered. His estate partnered with Primary Wave in 2021 to expand his reach, leading to projects like Bing at Christmas with the London Symphony Orchestra and 2023’s holiday album Christmas Gems, which collected rare and previously unreleased tracks.
“We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership with Primary Wave,” Crosby’s family said at the time. “Going into our first meeting, our goal was to find a partner who believed in the vast life that he led, and we know Primary Wave will continue to sustain the legacy of dad.” And they weren’t wrong. In 2024, a “White Christmas” duet with BTS’s V went viral, proving that his music still resonates across generations.
